Education in Montana
Thanks to the presence of 379 high schools, the state of Montana ranks 15th in the country in its student to teacher ratio. The state is 42nd in the country in the number of schools and 47th when it comes to high school student enrollment. Montana enjoys an 84 percent high school graduation rate, while limiting its dropout rate to only 4.1 percent.
Advanced Degrees in Montana
Montana’s college landscape is an interesting mix of public, private and tribal colleges. Some of the more prominent public and private universities are the University of Montana, Montana State University and Rocky Mountain College. The tribal college system includes such institutions as Blackfeet Community College, Stone Child College and Chief Dull Knife College.
