The actual structure of your resume may depend on the resume format that you choose. These are all soft skills, but your job will likely include hard skills as well. It’s up to you to balance soft skills and hard skills depending on the job title you’re actually applying for.
If you have work experience in the field you’re applying for, then be sure to feature those experiences here. However, even if you don’t have years of experience, there are some kinds of experience that you can include in your resume. This may include freelance work that’s related to the industry you’re shooting for, volunteer work and internship work. All of these things can help you beef up your experience section a bit.
Many stay-at-home moms got a college education before settling down to be a parent, and if you’re a stay-at-home mom returning to the job field, you can still include that college education in your education section. If you only graduated high school, then list your high school diploma instead. Don’t include your GPA, but do include any academic awards you received.
